Chalmers Johnson Speaketh

11 10 2007

Coined the phrase “Blowback.”

Here he argues that there is a difference between having a country and having an Empire.

Warning: This guy can get pretty heavy if you’re not sure what’s happening to the fife and bugle core that has powered America so very successfully for so many generations.

It can be quite a bring down. At least, he’s not stealing the huge quantities of energy that are stolen from the unconscious viewer by the TV News! He’s working at making, what to him, is a small contribution. (Rare to see!)

Along with our theme of The Power of Suggestion, you might observe any emotional reactions as Chalmers Johnson goes into a very organized speech to a church congregation on April 22, 2007.(This is the first I’ve seen of it. Nice You Tube production quality too!)

This was uploaded to You Tube by our “Chalmers Johnson” source, Jaxmehoff2 October 2008.

Cheerful.

🙂

If you like, the next two parts are on You Tube. Just follow the link to Jax’s channel.

All very interesting. The choice of Democracy or Imperialism could be out of the people’s hands by now, he guesses.

Or maybe out of his own hands?

There is a difference.

Meanwhile, during rise and fall of civilizations, empires, democracies, what of the choice to learn how to learn to live, whatever is going on in the outer world?

I remember a Sunday School book that my parents would have us read from at the breakfast table sometimes, Wake up and Live!

(Yes, that’s a suggestion, possibly a fairly useful suggestion. Take it or leave it.)

Thank you.
